Kylian Mbappe’s Astonishing Comeback Ahead of Real Madrid vs. Lille UCL Showdown

Kylian Mbappe tipped for SHOCK injury comeback in Real Madrid vs. Lille Champions League clash image

Kylian Mbappe is making a surprising comeback to the Real Madrid lineup for their UEFA Champions League match against Lille on October 1.

The French forward was absent during the recent 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid due to a hamstring injury, and it was anticipated that he would be out until after the October international break.

This would have meant he would miss the game in his home country against Lille and another match against Villarreal on October 5.

However, coach Carlo Ancelotti has included Mbappe in his squad traveling to face Lille, providing a shocking update.

According to Diario AS, Ancelotti is astonished by Mbappe’s swift recovery and may reinstate him in the lineup if he showcases his readiness before the match.

Following a tough game against Atletico Madrid, Thibaut Courtois will not play due to a slight muscle injury, with Andriy Lunin likely to step in as goalkeeper.

In light of the busy match schedule, Ancelotti might consider changing additional players, with names like Eduardo Camavinga and Fran Garcia possibly starting at Stade Pierre-Mauroy.

Real Madrid began their Champions League title defense with a 3-1 victory over VfB Stuttgart earlier this month.
