Longtime fans of “Sister Wives” have noticed increasing tension among the Brown family members over many seasons. This tension culminated in November 2021 when Christine publicly announced her decision to leave Kody after over 25 years together, stating on Instagram that they had grown apart but would continue co-parenting their children together.

As the 19th season of “Sister Wives” approached, she revealed that their relationship was facing extreme strain. “No one should be married while they’re going through a divorce,” she shared, describing their time together as “hell.”
