Rapper Drake is currently facing backlash from renowned streamer Pokimane after she voiced her concerns regarding his association with the crypto casino Stake.

Pokimane Criticizes Drake’s Crypto Casino Deal
Pokimane, aged 28, shared her feelings about Drake’s ongoing partnership with Stake, remarking that it has affected her view of him, despite her previously being a fan.
“Finding out about Drake’s connection to Stake was heartbreaking,” she confessed.
“I’ve always supported him as a fellow Canadian, but this changes how I feel about him as a person.”
Since 2022, Drake, 38, has promoted Stake on his social media, and a recent livestream with streamer xQc has reignited discussions about his involvement, especially since Pokimane has openly opposed gambling on streaming platforms.
In response to Pokimane’s comments, Drake appeared to make a playful remark after streamer Los Pollos highlighted her concerns.
“I watched the clip; what’s she upset about? Is it about the braids?” he quipped.
Fans are speculating that the term “braids” may allude to either his hairstyle or a reference to Kendrick Lamar’s diss track, “Euphoria.”
This isn’t the first instance where Pokimane has addressed Drake’s crypto gambling endorsements; she previously criticized him on The H3 Podcast in 2022, saying “As a Canadian, we are disowning you. We will keep the music, though.”
Drake’s connection to Stake remains a controversial topic, especially with the casino’s links to gambling-related content on Kick.
While Stake.com operates outside of U.S. laws, critics like Pokimane continue to advocate for more robust regulations in the area of gambling influencers in streaming.
