During the refreshing autumn days, large groups of white storks have flocked back to Thac Ba Lake in Yen Binh district, Yen Bai province, creating a breathtaking sight amidst the serene and untouched surroundings that enchants all who witness it.
Spanning over 23,000 hectares, with more than 19,000 hectares of water and approximately 1,300 islands, Thac Ba Lake is often likened to “Ha Long Bay in the mountains” and stands out as a prominent tourist attraction in Yen Bai province.
Especially in the autumn and spring seasons, numerous migratory birds, including white storks, make their way back to Thac Ba Lake, highlighting the success of the region’s conservation initiatives and its clean, inviting environment.
