EFCC Takes Action in Akure to Prevent Vote Buying

Agents from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) are actively present in different areas of Akure, the capital city of Ondo State, to stop any attempts of vote buying during the ongoing governorship election.

Some of these agents were seen at the Sacred Heart Primary School located at Cathedral in Akure.

According to Daily Post, the election is being held across 3,933 polling units spread over the 18 local government areas of Ondo State.

Before the election, there were allegations regarding certain political parties intending to sway voters by offering them cash incentives.
