“Analysts typically rush to declare the title race over, but my stance remains: it’s not settled until the final whistle blows,” Aguero stated.
“The current points lead could mean little by the season’s conclusion.
“In the 2011-12 season, we were eight points behind United, yet we claimed the title.
“While a victory over Liverpool would be beneficial, it’s premature to make definitive predictions with so much football yet to play.”
City’s upcoming encounter against Liverpool at Anfield this Sunday is crucial. A win could narrow the deficit to five points, but a defeat might see it increase to 11.
Nonetheless, Aguero remains confident in City’s capacity for a comeback.
