Elon Musk has often expressed his ambitions related to Mars, but it seems that Donald Trump’s supporters prefer to keep him on Earth, dubbing him their “First Lady.” This playful title surfaced during a CNN discussion by Ann Navarro, triggered by a photo featuring Trump and his family, where Melania Trump was noticeably missing. The jest came after Musk’s enthusiastic support for Trump’s campaign for a second term. Initially, there were speculations about tension stemming from Musk’s acquisition of X, formerly Twitter, but he later publicly aligned himself with Trump, notably cheering him on during a Pennsylvania rally. Interestingly, Melania was absent at that event.
This situation raises the question: Where has Melania been? Throughout Trump’s campaign, Melania made very few public appearances, showing up only at the Republican National Convention. She was absent from his lengthy criminal trials and chose not to accompany Trump to the presidential debate against Kamala Harris, opting instead for her husband’s company to be other prominent figures like Laura Loomer, Matt Gaetz, and his legal team. Meanwhile, Melania is busy promoting her upcoming memoir titled “Melania” on Musk’s platform, X. This indicates a potential rivalry.
Musk and Melania will see each other in D.C.
As Musk aligns himself closely with Trump, it’s no surprise that he is now receiving attention in return. The notable entrepreneur has been appointed to co-lead a new government initiative titled the Department of Government Efficiency, alongside Vivek Ramaswamy, a former presidential candidate who supports Trump. However, this new role requires congressional approval. While Musk seems set to step into Melania’s territory in D.C., they have shared the stage previously, notably exchanging cheek kisses at a rally days before the election. Are they allies or rivals?
Regardless, as Musk and Trump gain momentum, Melania’s presence appears to be diminishing. One must also remember her striking olive-green jacket from two years into Trump’s presidency, emblazoned with the words “I really don’t care do U?” This piece of clothing sparked considerable discussion and showcased her enigmatic approach as a private First Lady. While some may view giving Musk the title of First Lady as disrespectful, it raises an important question: Does Melania even desire to take on that role again?
