Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are preparing for their second Thanksgiving together, which is different from last year when they couldn’t be together.
Although they were already a couple last Thanksgiving, Swift was on the South America leg of her Eras Tour and unable to join Kelce.
This year, Swift has a free weekend as her tour will resume next Saturday, but Travis has a game on Friday, with his Kansas City Chiefs facing the Las Vegas Raiders.
Despite this, they are making plans to celebrate Thanksgiving together, and Travis is expected to help in the kitchen for the festivities.
A source revealed to DailyMail.com that “Taylor will be enjoying the holiday with Travis and some family members.”
“They both appreciate having the day off to relax and cherish their second Thanksgiving together.”
Additionally, it is reported that Taylor will prepare a meal for everyone, while Travis will handle the cleaning up afterward.
“Taylor loves cooking and is already preparing for the big meal,” the source shared. “Travis enjoys her dishes and will be in charge of the dishes this year.”
Taylor Takes a Breather Before Eras Tour Finale
This Thanksgiving will likely provide a much-needed break for Swift, who is getting ready for the last part of her Eras Tour in Vancouver, Canada, the following week.
An insider noted that Swift has been relying on Kelce for support during this emotional period as she reflects on the conclusion of her monumental tour, which has lasted two years and included 149 shows.
“This time is filled with emotions for her, but she is also grateful for all that she has accomplished this year,” the insider mentioned.
“The tour was her life, and the crew became her family, so as it nears the end, she feels very emotional and has been leaning on Travis and her close ones more than ever.”
Swift’s anxiety seems to be partly due to uncertainty about her next steps after the tour ends.
“She is always on the go and knows she needs to take a moment to celebrate her achievements, but she’s unsure about how to spend her time beyond songwriting,” the insider explained.
“Taylor dislikes being idle and is perplexed about how to fill her time.”
