Despite such claims, by the time of Will and Kate’s wedding, the interactions between them appeared cordial, highlighted by a lunch they shared prior to the wedding. While Kate did stir some controversy with her choice of meal, suggesting no malice from Camilla towards her, the speculation around possible tensions seems to have been exaggerated over the years.
