Recently, this video highlighting a father’s love for his daughter has gained significant attention online.
Despite his modest appearance and worn-out feet, the father is able to support his daughter’s education at a prestigious institution. Acknowledging her father’s sacrifices, his daughter strives to excel in her studies and work.
This popular video features Tran Thi Ai Vy, born in 1997, and her father, Tran Van Loc, born in 1971, from Don Duong district, Lam Dong province.
In a recent post, Vy reflected on her father’s life, mentioning he left school after the fifth grade to work with cattle and later turned to forestry at the age of 15. He married at 24, shortly after which Vy was born.
Her father has put in long hours of work since she was born.
After completing high school, Vy initially enrolled at Tay Nguyen Medical University but left after one year.
Upon discovering RMIT University, Vy’s father promised to work harder to support her dream of attending that school.
Motivated by her father’s spirit, Vy pursued a degree in Digital Marketing at RMIT, with each subject costing VND29 million and a total of 26 subjects to complete.
“I paid for my tuition in installments and studied three subjects at a time. Each time, my father had to sell three cows to cover the cost,” she shared about her father’s relentless commitment to ensure a better education for his children.
After earning her degree, Vy pursued a master’s program with a 50 percent scholarship and is now thriving in the marketing field, teaching others how to effectively use TikTok.
