Nicole Kidman and Salma Hayek have reaffirmed their friendship amidst recent speculation regarding their relationship.
During the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards, both actresses appeared cheerful on the red carpet, waving aside previous rumors about any discord between them.
The 57-year-old Kidman and 58-year-old Hayek, both established stars in Hollywood, exhibited lively interactions as they greeted each other prior to the awards ceremony.

Concerns about a possible rift started after an event at the Balenciaga show during Paris Fashion Week in September.
A viral video captured what appeared to be a strained moment between the two actresses, where Hayek tried to turn Kidman for a group photo with Katy Perry, but Kidman seemed to gently shrug Hayek’s arm away and walked off for a moment.
Observers quickly jumped to conclusions, igniting social media gossip about a potential fallout.
Particularly, some scrutinized Kidman being seated between Hayek and her husband, Francois-Henri Pinault, which fueled speculation.
However, lip-reader Jeremy Freeman proposed a more benign interpretation of the video, suggesting that Hayek was simply helping Kidman arrange herself for the camera, to which Kidman replied: “Hey, I’m fine, I’m good. There, it’s enough, it’s OK.”
Freeman added that Hayek sought Kidman‘s input, leading to Kidman‘s humorous response: “You don’t need it,” with Hayek jesting back, “I do.”
