Speed Darlington Faces Legal Troubles
Well-known musician Speed Darlington has been brought before the Nigerian police authorities.
This information was revealed by Deji Adeyanju, a lawyer and human rights advocate.
In a post on X, Adeyanju mentioned that the court has approved a bail request for the artist, with ongoing efforts to finalize the bail conditions.
Speed Darlington has been in custody since November 2024, following an alleged failure to comply with bail terms. He is under investigation after fellow artist Burnaboy filed a complaint, accusing him of defamation stemming from a video released last December. In the clip, Speedy suggested that Burna won a Grammy award due to “bending” down for Diddy.
