Speculations about their relationship status have been circulating, suggesting they might have separated without formally announcing it. However, the affectionate note shared by Barack on social media indicates that their bond remains strong.
“You bring warmth, wisdom, and joy into our lives, and you do it all with style. I feel fortunate to share life’s journey with you. Love you!,” he captioned a photo on Instagram where they were seen holding hands during dinner.
Michelle responded promptly, saying, “Love you, honey!”
Concerns about their relationship first emerged when Michelle did not attend the funeral of former president Jimmy Carter. Additionally, her absence from Donald Trump‘s inauguration has intensified speculation.
A source familiar with the Obamas remarked to Page Six, “You can’t tell Michelle what to do—she decides for herself. That’s why she didn’t campaign for Joe Biden in the last election.”
