Kylie Kelce has opened up about her budding friendship with Taylor Swift, sharing revelations about a secret double date involving her husband, Travis Kelce, that didn’t go as smoothly as hoped.
In a recent episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Kylie, who is married to former Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce, recounted her first encounter with Swift. She clarified some rumors regarding their late introduction and shared an unexpected detail from a couples’ dinner.

As the romance between Swift and Travis has gained attention, the Kelce family has stepped into the limelight.
Kylie and Jason have attended several Era’s Tour concerts and have even visited Swift’s Rhode Island residence.
Yet, in a surprising twist, Kylie mentioned that her first official meeting with Swift occurred in January 2024, well after Swift began dating Travis.
During her chat with host Alex Cooper, Kylie confirmed they went on a double date but noted a significant hiccup.
“Technically, yes,” she explained about the dinner, stating it was held at home.
When queried about tasting Taylor’s renowned cooking, Kylie had an unexpected revelation.
“I don’t think I actually had any of the food,” she confessed.
“This might sound awful. I couldn’t eat much since I was eight weeks pregnant, and nothing appealed to me at that time.”

Kylie stressed that, despite rumors, there isn’t any tension between her and Swift. She was always open to getting to know whoever Travis was seeing.
She also disclosed that although they kept their relationship under wraps initially, she and Jason were among the first to be informed.
“I will say we knew before anyone else knew, but it was not like … it did not hit the group chat,” she shared.
Since their meeting, Kylie and Swift have discovered they share numerous childhood memories.
“We both grew up visiting the same beach spots,” Kylie noted.
“Her family frequented places like Sea Isle and Stone Harbor, which are exactly where I popped up as a child.”
With their mutual childhood connections and evolving friendship, it’s evident that the Kelce family and Swift are developing a strong bond, one that continues to thrive even after one awkward dinner.
