Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were recently seen enjoying a cozy dinner date at Buccan, a popular eatery in Palm Beach, Florida. A fortunate fan seated nearby recounted her remarkable encounter.
Pamela Goodman, an enthusiastic “Fearless Swiftie” and active participant in groups like “Fearless Swifties over 50,” was out to dinner with a friend when Swift and Kelce unexpectedly entered and took a seat beside them, leaving her in disbelief.
“I had a vague sense that someone entered—just from my side view, I didn’t even glance,” Goodman shared during a phone call with Page Six. “I didn’t want to appear too obvious, but then I took a moment to look over.”
That’s when it struck her. “Oh my goodness, I can’t believe this,” she thought, confessing that she began to “shake” with excitement.
A delightful evening with Swift and Kelce
Despite her initial surprise, Goodman quickly regained her composure. The restaurant’s owner and manager even checked on her and her friend to ensure their comfort. Swift‘s bodyguard was present nearby, maintaining a careful yet unobtrusive watch. Meanwhile, the couple enjoyed their evening uninterrupted.
“They were such a playful couple on a date. They were just so charming!” she recalled fondly. “They were sharing dishes, sipping cocktails, exchanging sweet kisses, and laughing together.” Goodman remarked on the respectful atmosphere, with no interruptions from other diners.
Before they departed, Goodman took a chance to express her admiration.
“I stood up and said, ‘Excuse me, I hope I’m not intruding, but I may be one of your oldest and biggest fans,'” she reflected.
Swift, she mentioned, laughed and warmly replied: “I saw you! You’re so lovely,” before they shared a handshake.
Goodman also took the opportunity to share encouraging words with Kelce.
“I lived in Kansas City for seven years before you were born, and I’m a long-time Chiefs supporter. I wish you all the best this season,” she told him. “I believe in you and can’t wait to see your success!”
