The “Evil Dead” franchise, which began with the first film in 1981, was rebooted in 2013 with a fourth installment that has an all-too-familiar plot. When five friends — played by Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Elizabeth Blackmore, Jessica Lucas, and Lou Taylor Pucci — head to a sketchy cabin in the woods, they stumble upon a mysterious Book of the Dead that conjures up a violent demon on a bloodthirsty hunt to possess them all.
