At first, Captain Sandy Yawn thought that the termination of deck-stew Camille Lamb would be the end of the matter. However, she soon discovered that this was not the case. The Season 10 “Below Deck” cameras caught Yawn overhearing Alissa Humber gossiping about Lamb through the yacht’s “thin walls.” The situation escalated when Yawn noticed Humber and fellow stew Hayley De Sola Pinto sunbathing while their other coworker was still working. Yawn reprimanded Humber for her attitude, but the second stew misspoke and called the captain just “Sandy” instead of her proper title. In response, Yawn cited “insubordination” and “malicious gossip” as reasons for her dismissal. Humber later said she felt she was the “scapegoat” for the crew’s issues.
