In a highlight moment, Usher will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his remarkable musical career and also boasts four nominations, joining other talented performers like Childish Gambino, Chlöe, Coco Jones, Keke Palmer, Marsha Ambrosius, and Summer Walker.
This occasion marks Will Smith’s return to major awards shows since his controversial actions at the 2022 Oscars, leading to a 10-year ban from Academy events, creating anticipation among fans to witness his musical comeback.
Drake leads this year’s nominations with seven nods, followed by Nicki Minaj with six nominations. Notable contenders include J. Cole, Sexyy Red, SZA, Monét, and Beyoncé each with five nominations, with others like 21 Savage, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Tyla, and Usher with four nominations each.
