“Roseanne” actor and musician Martin Mull has passed away at the age of 80. His daughter Maggie Mull revealed on Instagram that he had been battling an undisclosed illness.

Maggie fondly remembered her father’s sense of humor, mentioning his knack for various creative pursuits and his appearances in Red Roof Inn commercials. She shared that Martin had a love for dogs, a quality she admired as a testament to his character.

Mull’s career included roles in “Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman,” “Roseanne,” and “Arrested Development,” where he portrayed memorable characters. His portrayal of Colonel Mustard in “Clue” remains one of his most recognized roles. His passing serves as a reminder of his collaborations with other comedy legends we have lost.
