Alec Baldwin and his spouse, Hilaria, were spotted enjoying a rare morning together in Manhattan on Wednesday.
The couple, who initially crossed paths at a restaurant in New York City back in 2011, appeared at ease as they walked around the city after getting drinks and pastries from a nearby café.
For their outing, Baldwin, 66, dressed casually in a black windbreaker and slacks, while Hilaria, 40, chose a blue t-shirt with dark pants, big sunglasses, and cozy slippers. He enjoyed an iced matcha, while she had a hot coffee as they began their day.
The couple has been busy filming a new family-oriented reality series that is set to premiere on TLC in 2025. The series includes their seven children—Carmen, 11; Rafael, 9; Leonardo, 7; Romeo, 6; Eduardo, 3; Maria, 3; and Ilaria, 1—and has recently been recorded in the Hamptons.
Alec also has a daughter, Ireland Baldwin, 27, from his previous marriage to actress Kim Basinger.
While their family life is central to this new show, Alec Baldwin is still grappling with legal challenges related to the tragic shooting incident on the set of Rust in 2021, which resulted in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuries to director Joel Souza.
Updates on the Rust Legal Situation
Baldwin’s legal issues have come to light again after a prosecutor in New Mexico requested a judge to reassess the dismissal of an involuntary manslaughter charge against him.
The case was dismissed in July following arguments from Baldwin’s defense that evidence had been withheld by the prosecution. Baldwin, who is the lead actor and co-producer of Rust, asserts that while he cocked the gun during a rehearsal, he did not actually pull the trigger.
Special prosecutor Kari Morrissey is advocating for the reopening of the case, claiming that the previous dismissal lacked sufficient basis. Baldwin’s legal team has vigorously opposed this motion, accusing Morrissey of misusing the judicial system and hiding evidence.
Despite the ongoing legal challenges, Baldwin is focusing on his family and the forthcoming reality series, striving to maintain a balance between his public responsibilities and personal issues.
