After 18 years since the release of High School Musical, the cast members have all matured, including Ashley Tisdale, who recently celebrated the birth of her second child at 39.
Tisdale, originally from Monmouth County, New Jersey, gained recognition for her role as Maddie Fitzpatrick on the Disney Channel sitcom The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Her career took a significant turn when she played Sharpay Evans in the 2006 film High School Musical.
Marking a new chapter in her life, Tisdale shared the joyful news of her daughter’s birth on September 7, posting a charming black-and-white image on Instagram that features her, her husband, Christopher French, and their new baby holding hands.
“Emerson Clover French, all three of us are in love with you. She landed 9.6.24,” Tisdale expressed in her social media announcement.
The couple welcomed their first child, Jupiter, in March 2021. They also disclosed their second pregnancy in March 2024.
Tisdale and French’s relationship started in 2012, with an engagement at the Empire State Building in 2013, followed by their wedding in Santa Barbara, California, a year later. They have built a wonderful life together since.
“My husband transformed into a different person,” Tisdale shared regarding their journey into parenthood. “Our relationship evolved into something new.”
“I had to let go of parts of us and re-discover my partner and marriage.”
A Special Connection with Hudgens
Tisdale’s exciting news about her second pregnancy coincided almost perfectly with her High School Musical co-star, Vanessa Hudgens, who revealed her own pregnancy while on the red carpet at the Academy Awards.
Hudgens, who portrayed Gabriella Montez, married Cole Tucker, a player for the MLB’s Los Angeles Angels, in December 2023. The couple welcomed their baby sometime between late June and early July, though they have yet to confirm the exact date.
