Assistant of Matthew Perry Confesses to Tampering with Evidence Before Medical Help Arrived

Matthew Perry's assistant admits to "cleaning the scene" before paramedics arrived

New details regarding the investigation into the passing of actor Matthew Perry on October 28, 2023, suggest that his assistant, Kenny Iwamasa, not only administered a lethal dosage of ketamine but also cleaned the scene before law enforcement arrived.

Perry was discovered in his Los Angeles residence, found submerged in his jacuzzi. Although his death was attributed to cardiac arrest following an autopsy, the investigation uncovered no visible drugs at the site where he passed away.

However, forensic analysis confirmed the presence of a deadly amount of ketamine in his system, a drug initially prescribed to combat depression.

In connection with a potential homicide, five individuals were apprehended earlier this month for their suspected roles in the demise of the 54-year-old actor.

Those detained include physicians: Salvador Plasencia, who purportedly prescribed the drug to Perry, and Mark Chávez, accused of furnishing ketamine to Plasencia through illegal prescriptions, exploiting Perry’s addiction for monetary gain.

Also implicated is Jasveen Sangha, identified as the “Queen of Ketamine,” allegedly supplying the lethal dose that led to Matthew Perry’s passing.

Erik Fleming, charged with transporting the substance, along with Perry’s assistant, Kenny Iwamasa, alleged to have facilitated the acquisition of the illicit substance for Perry, were also arrested.

Furthermore, investigations suggest that Iwamasa eradicated evidence from the scene, as per official reports.

The inquiry indicates that Fleming aided Iwamasa in procuring the illicit ketamine dosage for Matthew Perry.

Supporting this claim, the prosecution presented a text from Fleming acknowledging, “I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t have the opportunity to earn some money.”

Final Moments and Tragic End of Matthew Perry

Reports disclose that on Thursday, October 28, 2023, Matthew Perry instructed his assistant to administer ketamine by 8:30 AM and had a subsequent dose four hours later while watching a movie.

Later, Perry requested another dose from his assistant and requested the jacuzzi to be prepared. After completing these tasks, Iwamasa left for errands and returned home to find Perry submerged in the tub.

At that juncture, Iwamasa eliminated any traces of the illicit ketamine and purportedly contacted Fleming to inform him of discarding syringes and vials containing the anesthetic.

Iwamasa then alerted paramedics, who pronounced Perry deceased. The cause of death was established as a ketamine overdose, with the drowning attributed to the ensuing cardiac arrest.

Iwamasa has pleaded guilty to involvement in distributing ketamine, while Fleming admitted to dispensing ketamine that led to death. Both have agreed to assist the prosecution. Conversely, the implicated doctors have pleaded not guilty.

The ongoing investigation elucidates that Perry spent over $55,000 on ketamine in the month leading up to his overdose, receiving up to six doses in a single day, as per reports.
