His summer playlist tends to grab more attention, but he unveiled his top songs of 2024 this past Friday, as he does every year. As expected, reactions ranged from enthusiastic approval to strong disapproval.
Obama’s Favorite Songs of 2024 Released
One notable absence from Obama’s list was Taylor Swift, which caught the attention of many fans. Despite her recent album “The Tortured Poets Department,” she was missing from his selections this year.
Swift hasn’t appeared on either his summer or end-of-year lists in the past few years, leading to speculation that Obama might not favor pop music. However, Kendrick Lamar made the cut again this year, continuing his streak from 2022 and 2023. Other regulars include Karol G and Beyoncé.
Additionally, Tommy Richman celebrated an incredible year, as his hit “Million Dollar Baby” was featured on Obama’s list, ensuring that the 24-year-old’s future looks promising.
