Ben Affleck is enjoying his single life with newfound confidence. Recently, he was seen at Lavo in West Hollywood, where a brief conversation with a paparazzo revealed his thoughts on being “Hollywood’s hottest bachelor.”
The conversation continued when asked if he still appreciates Latinas. Affleck confidently responded, “Of course I do,” reflecting his long-standing romantic connections, especially with Jennifer Lopez.
At 52, Affleck learned Spanish as a teenager while working on a TV show in Mexico, a skill he has kept up through various interviews.
Lopez, 55, also has a rich cultural background and was engaged to Affleck in the early 2000s. Their relationship ended due to the challenges of fame, but they reunited in 2021 and married in July 2022. Unfortunately, their marriage was short-lived, as Lopez filed for divorce in August 2024, finalizing it by January 2025.
Following their split, they are now looking to sell their $60.8 million mansion purchased shortly after their wedding, though they’ve reduced its price from $68 million to $59.95 million after receiving no offers.
Affleck Moves Forward Post-Divorce
Despite their separation, Affleck continues to respect Lopez and her children. He shares three kids—Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel—with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, while Lopez has 17-year-old twins from her marriage to Marc Anthony.
Post-divorce, Affleck maintains a close bond with Lopez’s children and even attends events with them.
At a recent premiere for The Accountant 2, he shared, “Jennifer Lopez is wonderful, great with my kids, and I cherish our ongoing relationship. Her children mean a lot to me; she’s a person of great integrity whom I admire.”
While their marriage has ended, Affleck’s respect for Lopez and her culture remains strong, indicating a possibility for future romantic endeavors connected to that shared appreciation.
