Ben Affleck was seen enjoying time with his kids in Los Angeles while his estranged spouse, Jennifer Lopez, was at the Toronto International Film Festival for the premiere of their film Unstoppable.
On September 6, Affleck, aged 52, was out with his children, Samuel, 12, and Seraphina, 15.
The family had a lunch outing together, with Affleck dressed in casual gray jeans, a white T-shirt, and purple sneakers. He shares Samuel and Seraphina, along with his eldest daughter, Violet, 18, with his former wife Jennifer Garner.
Earlier that same day, Affleck was seen in a suit in Los Angeles, apparently heading to work, while Lopez, 55, walked the red carpet in Toronto for the film’s premiere.
This movie, produced by Affleck and Matt Damon, features Lopez as the mother of Anthony Robles, a real-life wrestler who triumphed in the NCAA championships despite being born with one leg.
At the premiere, Lopez was radiant in a silver Tamara Ralph gown, matched with a metallic Judith Leiber clutch and stylish Dolce & Gabbana platform heels.
Notably, Affleck did not attend the premiere; insiders noted that Lopez and Damon shared some light-hearted moments and had an extensive conversation at the afterparty.
Lopez filed for divorce on two-year anniversary
This premiere follows shortly after Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck on August 20, marking their separation date as August 26, coinciding with their two-year wedding anniversary.
The couple initially married in Las Vegas in early 2022 before hosting a larger celebration in Georgia later that same year. Speculation about their relationship began circulating throughout the summer, as they spent significant time apart.
Sources reported that Lopez is “doing as well as she can” and seems to feel relieved after filing for divorce, while Affleck is said to be focused and managing well during this time of separation.
