Affleck’s divorce from Lopez was finalized in January, coinciding with wildfires in the Los Angeles area. While there are speculations about Lopez possibly dating Kevin Costner, Affleck has been rumored to be seeing Jessica Alba as a response. Affleck shines in “Accountant 2” trailer
Recently, the first trailer for “The Accountant 2” was launched, almost ten years since the initial film debuted. In this thriller, Affleck reprises his role as forensic accountant Christian Wolff, who investigates the murder of a treasury agent. He is joined again by Jon Bernthal, who plays Christian‘s brother Brax.
The film, produced by Artists Equity, a company founded by Affleck and Matt Damon, is set to be released in theaters on April 25 after its premiere at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas. The eagerly awaited sequel follows the remarkable success of the original film, which earned $155 million against a $44 million budget.
Having gained positive feedback from his Super Bowl commercials, “The Accountant 2” could signal the beginning of a new chapter for the 52-year-old actor, who seems to be moving forward decisively following his divorce from Lopez.
