Following his tumultuous relationship and expensive separation from Jennifer Lopez, American actor Ben Affleck is actively seeking ways to recover his financial losses. He is focusing on launching multiple projects through his production company, which he co-founded with his friend Matt Damon.
The “Batman” actor appears to be moving past his brief marriage to JLo, which lasted about two years, and is channeling his efforts into filmmaking in hopes of regaining his financial footing.
Affleck Accelerates Production Ventures
Currently, the 52-year-old actor is collaborating with Matt Damon at their new studio, Artists Equity, as reported by Radar Online.
An insider shared that during his time with the Bronx superstar, Affleck enjoyed a lavish lifestyle, which was largely influenced by her more expensive tastes.
The informant added, “She spends at a different level,” indicating that Ben had to adjust to a lifestyle filled with luxury during their relationship.
Plans for Multiple Film Releases
Now looking forward, Ben is putting his full effort into his current projects. Artists Equity was founded with the vision of producing numerous films annually.
Indeed, sources indicate they aim to produce up to five films each year.
“It has to serve as a means of generating genuine wealth for him in the future, or he will face difficulties,” the insider mentioned.
Affleck is reportedly already in the works on his second movie for Artists Equity, titled “RIP”, following the success of the 2023 film “Air,” which he collaborated on with Damon.
There’s no doubt Affleck is taking charge of his career with new endeavors that could significantly impact his future.
Ben Affleck and JLo rekindled their romance in May 2021, after a prior breakup in 2004, and tied the knot in July 2022. Unfortunately, their marriage didn’t last as long as expected, leading to an official annulment by the end of February 2025.
