Blake Lively Battling Multi-Million Dollar Defamation Lawsuit from Crisis PR Agency

Blake Lively faces millions in defamation lawsuit from Crisis PR Firm

Blake Lively is facing a new legal challenge as Jed Wallace from the crisis PR agency Street Relations has initiated a defamation lawsuit against her. This lawsuit, lodged in a Texas federal court, demands $7 million in damages and requests that the court confirm Wallace’s non-involvement in any harassment or retaliation directed at Lively.

This lawsuit continues the ongoing legal conflict involving Lively and Justin Baldoni, the director and star of “It Ends With Us.” Lively previously accused Wallace of running a smear campaign against her, claiming he manufactured fake social media posts to undermine her while protecting Baldoni.

In his lawsuit, Wallace asserts that Lively’s claims are unfounded and defamatory. Lively’s attorneys have countered by labeling the litigation as a “transparent retaliation” for her allegations of sexual harassment and retaliation while working on the set of “It Ends With Us.”

Key decisions are still pending

Lively’s legal team is optimistic that the lawsuit will be dismissed, expressing satisfaction at having Wallace face accountability in federal court. The dispute is intensifying, with both parties firmly set in their stances. The outcome of this new legal action could significantly influence the ongoing conflict.

In the meantime, Blake Lively is poised to star in the forthcoming film “Another Simple Favor,” a sequel to the 2018 hit “A Simple Favor.” She will be joined by Anna Kendrick, both reprising their roles as Emily Nelson and Stephanie Smothers, respectively.

The plot follows Emily and Stephanie as they travel to Capri, Italy, for Emily’s wedding, which takes a dark turn involving murder and betrayal. Directed by Paul Feig, the film is scheduled to debut at the SXSW festival on March 7, 2025, before streaming on Prime Video on May 1, 2025.
