Brittany Mahomes recently revealed her significant health struggles, including a back injury. In March, she surprised many by sharing on Instagram that she had fractured her back after giving birth to two children. Emphasizing the importance of pelvic floor care post-pregnancy, she wrote, “Just a daily reminder: Once you have kids please take care of your pelvic floor. Seriously, From: A girl with a fractured back.” Dr. Yves-Richard Dole explained that injuries like hers may stem from the connection between pelvic and lower back health.

While fans were shocked by her injury, Brittany shared her reflection on how returning to intense workouts too soon after having children can lead to complications. She mentioned in the “Whoop” podcast that she tried to maintain her usual workout regimen but ended up hurting her back.

Later, Brittany announced that she had made a full recovery and was resuming her workout routine. In May, she mentioned to E! News that her back pain had subsided, and in June, she updated about gradually reintroducing overhead lifts in her workouts. Complicating her recovery was her third pregnancy.

In July 2024, Brittany Mahomes announced that she was expecting her third child. Shortly thereafter, she spoke candidly about the challenges of this pregnancy, stating, “This pregnancy has been the hardest on me … sickness, exhaustion, and now skin!” She shared updates about her health struggles on Instagram.

Despite her tough pregnancy, Brittany made strides in recovering from her back injury and shared her gym progress on social media, highlighting her return to back squats after over a year. Her trainers corroborated the hard work that went into her rehab, emphasizing the focus on pelvic floor and core strengthening.

On the “Whoop” podcast, Brittany detailed her recovery process, including therapy and chiropractic care, emphasizing the significance of pelvic floor therapy in her healing journey.
