BUZZ: Body Language Expert Analyzes Prince Harry’s Cheerful Demeanor at Coronation

Prince Harry was in surprisingly good spirits at King Charles III’s coronation on Saturday, despite the tensions surrounding his attendance. Body language expert Judi James, speaking exclusively to Page Six, said “Harry looked cheerful to the point of cocky, almost as though none of the events of the past couple of years had ever happened.” She was shocked by his joyful demeanor, expecting him to be “solitary and isolated” and using “anxiety rituals” to self-comfort.

Harry arrived with his “loyal royal posse” of cousins Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice and their husbands, Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mozzi, by his side. James noted that he was performing a mime referring to Eugenie’s heavily-pregnant baby bump and making them all chuckle. He was seated with his cousins during the event, behind his aunt Princess Anne, whose large red feather hat obstructed his view.

James pointed out that Harry had a “flash glance” in Prince William’s direction with a more dour expression. She also highlighted one poignant moment when “Charles and William and Kate made their stately way up the aisle” in front of the duke. Harry looked at his father but then turned his head towards Edoardo to speak to him again.

Page Six confirmed that Harry hastily left London less than an hour after Charles’ coronation ceremony ended Saturday, jetting back to Los Angeles in order to make it home in time for his son Prince Archie’s 4th birthday. In California, he will reunite with Markle, 41, who chose not to attend the coronation and stayed in Montecito with Archie and 1-year-old daughter Princess Lilibet instead.

The feud between Harry and his family has grown ever since he and the Duchess of Sussex resigned from their royal duties in January 2020. It was further exacerbated by the publication of Harry’s bombshell memoir, “Spare” earlier this year. Despite this, Harry appeared to be in good spirits at the coronation, showing resilience and cheerfulness.
