Bodybuilder and influencer Jo Lindner has died at age 30.
He passed away from an aneurysm days after complaining about pain in his neck, his girlfriend, Nicha, shared via Instagram Saturday.
The German fitness guru, also known as “Joesthetics” on social media, had amassed an Instagram following of 8.9 million by posting about his workouts, meals and training routines.
Nicha posted a heartfelt tribute to the late bodybuilder and described him as sweet, kind, strong, loyal, hardworking and a “believer in everyone.”

“He believe[d] in me that I could be better and be someone in this world,” she added.
Meanwhile, fellow bodybuilder Noel Deyzel captioned a photo of himself and Lindner, writing, “Rest in peace Jo. I love you man.”
Deyzel later shared on Sunday that he had met with Lindner’s mom for dinner.
“It was honestly so incredible, I can see where he got his strength from. She was so proud,” he wrote via his Instagram Story.
“More than anything, she just appreciates all of you for carrying her son in such a positive light and for continuing on his legacy.”
In his final post before his death, Lindner reflected on having testosterone replacement therapy after taking a year off from intensive bodybuilding.
“When I lost my gains because I went off everything for 1 year but then could not recover my own test levels so went back on trt,” he posted.
“Trust me I tried to stop but be aware it might have long term effects for your life,” he continued. “Trt is a big commitment keep that in mind.”
