The outspoken former “The Talk” co-host, 70, said that while the pair’s relationship has had its hardships in the past, they managed to overcome them by “accepting” each other.

“We’re both oddballs,” Sharon told E! News of her connection with the Black Sabbath rocker, 74. “I might look quite normal, you know, the way I dress, but normal is not a word I use often.”

The couple tied the knot in 1982 after initially meeting in 1971.

And while the pair celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in July, Sharon recalled some moments in their marriage that proved to be a challenge for them.

Specifically, when they briefly broke up in 2016 after Sharon learned that Ozzy had been unfaithful.

“It’s not been easy, no relationship is easy,” the mom of two said. “You have to work at it. You get your ugly times, your bad times and your horrific times. But if you love each other enough, you’ll work through.”

Elsewhere, Sharon opened up about other hardships the pair had faced.

Ozzy was fired from his band in 1979 while battling substance abuse issues, and it was Sharon who helped him get back on his feet and start a solo project.

“We’re cut from the same mold,” she told the outlet.

Sharon stressed how important it is “to realize you have to accept people for what they are.”

“They’ll never be what you want them to be,” she went on. “You have to accept them. There are good and there are bad parts. If you love them enough, you’ll accept it and realize that you can’t change it.”

“We’ve been planning this for the last four f–king years,” Ozzy said.

“This is what I’ve learned: You can’t plan anything,” Sharon told Ozzy, and their children Kelly, 38, and Jack, 37. “I just feel that I wanna go home. I wanna give your father a chance to live his life.”

“We can do more what we want more in England than we can do here,” she added.
