Celebrities Tied to Diddy Allegedly Racing to Settle Claims with Accusers

Lawyer suggests Diddy-linked celebrities are scrambling to pay settlements to potential victims

In a surprising turn of events, attorney Tony Buzbee revealed that numerous well-known celebrities are discreetly resolving claims with victims to escape being publicly accused in the sex assault case involving Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Buzbee, who is representing over 120 alleged victims of Combs, disclosed this information in a conversation with TMZ.

Buzbee stated that his legal team is preparing to initiate lawsuits against notable figures tied to this case, revealing that some celebrities have already reached settlements.

“In every instance, particularly in situations like this, we strive to resolve matters without resorting to public lawsuits, and we have succeeded with a few individuals, many of whom are quite renowned,” Buzbee mentioned.

Last month, Combs, who founded Bad Boy Records, was arrested on charges of criminal sex trafficking, to which he has pleaded not guilty. Buzbee intends to file several lawsuits this month, including claims from 25 minors, and has already dispatched letters demanding action from additional parties expected to be implicated alongside Combs.

Seeking accountability for witnesses

Buzbee stressed his commitment to “aggressively” pursue legal action against any witnesses of the alleged abuse who failed to take action.

“If you were present, watched the incidents unfold, and remained silent or helped to conceal them, you have a serious issue,” he claimed.

He believes many individuals and organizations allowed such behavior to persist unchallenged and could face legal repercussions.

Although there’s considerable speculation regarding potential celebrity involvement, Buzbee clarified that he would not be identifying notable figures this week.

“Everyone is curious about which celebrities might be implicated, who could be named, and who may face exposure. I don’t anticipate that happening this week,” he stated.

He acknowledged the importance of conducting thorough investigations before assigning blame, recognizing the serious implications of naming individuals besides Combs.

Combs, 54, confronts grave claims that he coerced women into participating in drug-infused sexual encounters with male prostitutes over ten years, frequently employing intimidation or violence. In response to these accusations, victims are beginning to share their stories of alleged misconduct.

Combs and his legal representatives assert that these so-called “freak offs” were consensual interactions among adults, denying any charges of abuse, particularly toward minors.
