After departing from the Royal Family and relocating to the United States, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have encountered a series of successes and obstacles. A significant setback includes the termination of their exclusive Spotify deal, coupled with growing uncertainties regarding the sustainability of their partnership with Netflix.
Noted royal commentator Tom Quinn stated that these challenges are posing a dilemma for the couple. Following their royal exit, Harry and Meghan secured a five-year deal with Netflix. While Meghan gears up for the launch of a new show, there has been no confirmation on the extension of their Netflix contract.
“There is a growing divide between Harry and Meghan stemming from Meghan’s mounting concerns that her life is deviating from her envisioned path – she thrives on media attention and is displeased with indications suggesting a waning interest in her and Harry from the American public,” he informed The Mirror US.
“Given the reports hinting at jeopardy surrounding the couple’s Netflix deal, along with the ridicule following the debut of her online brand, Meghan feels besieged.”
Meghan’s Venture into Branding
Meanwhile, Meghan introduced her lifestyle label, American Riviera Orchard, without observing any sales yet. Initially shrouded in secrecy upon its March launch, the brand’s offerings now include kitchen and household appliances, oils, nut spreads, jams, preserves, as well as home scents and furnishings.
