Despite the concerning setting of the hospital bed, it was actually a promotional video for his Labor Day Super Sale at Gallery Furniture.
Mack is famous for his sales promotions linked to sporting events, such as offering to refund customers’ furniture purchases if specific teams win championships. His deep passion for sports is evident in his multimillion-dollar bets on major games, earning him the nickname “Mattress Mack” in sports circles. Apart from his betting and business endeavors, Mack is recognized for his philanthropic activities, particularly his support for the Houston community during challenging times like the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey in 2017.
