Demi Moore Shares Uplifting Update on Bruce Willis Amid His Dementia Journey

Demi Moore gives good news about Bruce Willis as he battles dementia and reveals her effort not to give up on him

Demi Moore recently discussed her former partner Bruce Willis and his ongoing struggle with frontotemporal dementia. During her visit on “The Drew Barrymore Show,” the 61-year-old actress shared insights about her relationship with Willis and how their family has come together to support each other through these tough times.

Barrymore took a moment to reminisce about their collaboration on the 2003 film Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, where Willis had a memorable cameo.

“When we did Charlie’s Angels, Bruce had a role in it, opening the film,” Barrymore remembered.

“I actually knew him back when he worked as a bartender at Cafe Central! He’s been a part of my life for so long. How is he doing now?”

Moore responded: “Considering everything, he’s in a stable condition.”

Moore and Willis, who were together from 1987 until 2000, have maintained a strong bond, raising three daughters—Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. Even after their divorce, their connection has endured, with Moore actively participating in family gatherings, including those with Willis’ wife, Emma Heming Willis.

The merging of their families has been smooth, as Moore frequently joins Willis and Emma in family celebrations, along with their daughters, Mabel and Evelyn. Their family unity became particularly evident in 2020 when they all spent time together in Idaho during the pandemic, showcasing their close-knit relationship.

Moore’s guidance for her daughters

In her discussion with Barrymore, Moore addressed the emotional impact of Willis’ diagnosis on their daughters. She expressed that her main concern is for them to cherish the moments they have with their father. Moore stressed that it’s crucial for the family to prioritize time together now more than ever.

“I tell my kids to connect with their father in the present. It’s important not to cling to who he was or what we wish him to be, but to embrace who he is right now,” Moore shared. “From that place, there’s so much beauty, joy, love, and sweetness.”
