Diddy is under suspicion for sex trafficking, while Mangione is accused of murdering UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
Insiders say that Diddy is furious over the popularity Mangione is enjoying among other inmates. Even though he faces murder charges, Mangione is admired by many prisoners, which has reportedly led Diddy to react with frustration. He believes that he is unjustly facing negativity from others in prison, even while asserting his innocence, all the while Mangione is receiving admiration.

Mangione, at 26 years old, is in solitary confinement but still enjoys popularity among inmates. His rise in status is attributed to his personal hardships, including losses endured due to poor healthcare.
“The empathy towards Luigi stems from his difficult life experiences,” shared a source with the Daily Mail.
Inmates also relate to his plight, considering the prison’s reported healthcare issues.
On the other hand, Diddy remains in the general population; even though they are represented by the same legal team, they have not met while incarcerated.
“They don’t share any similarities, and Diddy has not interacted with Mangione,” stated the source.
Despite the seriousness of his charges, Mangione is experiencing considerable attention and has garnered support from other inmates. A source mentioned that Mangione recognizes this backing, which he finds uplifting, providing him with assurance during his time in custody.
Conversely, Diddy continues to face his own set of legal challenges. He is awaiting trial concerning sex trafficking and has multiple lawsuits alleging sexual assault against him. Over 150 individuals, including men and women, have accused Diddy of misconduct during parties across various states, often involved with drug-enhanced beverages.
