Without question, one of the most prominent trials occurring in the United States and globally is that of artist Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who has been incarcerated since September 2024. The purported charges against him are grave, including conspiracy for organized crime, involvement in sex trafficking, and transporting individuals for prostitution.
The proceedings continued on Thursday, May 22, marking a pivotal day as musician Scott Mescudi, recognized as Kid Cudi, appeared at the New York courthouse. He candidly shared some of the most alarming encounters he has had with Combs.
It’s important to highlight that Kid Cudi was involved with Casandra Ventura, who was Combs’ partner at the time, leading to the first violent altercation involving Cudi. Diddy’s assistant alerted Casandra, prompting Kid Cudi to leave her at a hotel and return to his residence, where he discovered that the rapper had been present.
Upon arriving home, Kid Cudi noticed that gifts meant for his family had been unwrapped and his dog was confined. “I called him and asked, ‘Are you in my house, motherf***er?'” Scott recounted, but received a denial from Sean Combs.
Kid Cudi discusses Combs’ denial regarding setting fire to his car: “He was untruthful”
Those in attendance were taken aback when Kid Cudi recounted a significant confrontation he had with Combs, during which his vehicle appeared to be engulfed in flames. Following this, they engaged in a heated dialogue where ‘Diddy’ remarked: “We were colleagues, you know that was my girl?” Despite the events, Mescudi noted that Casandra assured him she had ended her relationship with Combs prior to their own. Regarding the car incident, Sean Combs refuted all allegations. In this matter, Cudi firmly stated to prosecutor Emily Johnson, “He was untruthful.”
