Facing significant legal hurdles, Sean “Diddy” Combs is making an unexpected move to raise funds by putting his opulent private jet up for charter.
The renowned hip-hop figure, currently held in New York awaiting a trial related to sex trafficking allegations, is seeking to profit from his $60 million Gulfstream 550, listing it on elite aviation platforms aimed at Hollywood’s wealthy.
Diddy’s jet available through Victor & Jettly
The stylish all-black Gulfstream, operated under Combs’ own company, Loveair LLC, is located at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles and can carry up to 14 passengers.
This lavish aircraft, manufactured in 2015, is listed on prestigious private jet services like Victor and Jettly, designed for high-end travelers searching for elite flying experiences.
However, potential clients might not realize they are renting Diddy’s personal jet since its listings do not reveal the owner’s name.
Victor, often dubbed the “Uber of Private Jets,” provides services to a clientele that includes both business leaders and celebrities, ensuring exceptional comfort and exclusiveness.
Clive Jackson, the CEO of Victor, notes that their customers have elevated expectations, and Diddy’s Gulfstream, featuring luxurious beige leather seating and private suites, aligns perfectly with the premium offerings.
Silver Air manages Diddy’s jet on behalf of his LLC, boasting a wide selection of luxury aircraft for international travel.
Costs vary by distance; for instance, a round-trip flight from Los Angeles to New York on the Gulfstream is roughly $116,681, whereas a flight across the Atlantic to London’s Biggin Hill costs nearly $432,000.
In addition to the jet, Combs is also attempting to liquidate some of his other high-value assets.
He has recently placed his Beverly Hills property on the market for $61.5 million, highlighting his urgency in addressing escalating legal fees.
His attorneys have submitted a new bail request, pointing to comparable cases where defendants were released despite serious charges.
If approved, Combs could see one of the highest bail amounts in history, with an offer to post a $50 million bond and adhere to 24-hour surveillance.
As Combs confronts his ongoing legal issues, his once-prominent standing in the entertainment sphere has been eclipsed by court appearances and serious allegations.
His latest financial strategies, like the chartering of his private jet, showcase his attempts to manage rising costs as he awaits trial over claims that have dramatically affected his public and professional image.
