Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was briefly released from prison for a few hours. He remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn but made a quick trip to a nearby hospital around 10:00 p.m. Saturday night, according to Page Six.
Sources revealed that the hospital visit was conducted late at night to avoid drawing attention and to keep the famous producer’s movements discreet. Neither fellow inmates nor the prison’s security staff were informed about this visit, with only select individuals being privy to the details.
Why did Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs visit the hospital?
The hospital visit was primarily due to ongoing knee pain. Combs has expressed concerns about this issue multiple times while incarcerated, leading to his transfer for medical assessment. He also needed an MRI, which could not be conducted in prison without specialized equipment.
Prison officials refrained from commenting on Diddy’s hospital visit, stating: “For privacy and security reasons, we do not comment on the confinement conditions of any individual in our custody, including medical status or medical trips.”
Page Six has dismissed the possibility that this knee issue stems from a physical altercation within the Brooklyn Detention Center. It appears to be a pre-existing chronic condition that the producer has had since entering prison in September 2024.
