Kendrick Lamar will take the stage at the Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show, while Drake ensures he’s far away from the event.
On the same date that Lamar performs at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, the Canadian artist will be in Melbourne, Australia, kicking off his Anita Max Wynn Tour.

His tour will continue until mid-March, ensuring he stays away from the Super Bowl event.
Drake’s decision to skip the Super Bowl comes shortly after Lamar’s success at the Grammys, where he won five awards, including one for “Not Like Us,” which is a direct jab at Drake.
The rivalry between these two stars has lasted over a decade but intensified recently with exchanges of diss tracks.
Regardless of Lamar’s Grammy achievements, Drake showed no concern as he began his tour in Perth.
He made a grand entrance, walking among fans while the intro to “Over My Dead Body” played.
Donning a black hoodie with bullet hole designs, he made a noteworthy fashion choice, hinting at the recent lyrical conflicts.
Drake wrapped up his opening performance with comments that could have been aimed at Lamar.
“My name is Drake. I started in 2008, I came all the way from Toronto, Canada. The year is now 2025, and Drizzy Drake is very much still alive,” he proclaimed, eliciting applause from the crowd.
Meanwhile, as Drake focuses on his tour, Lamar has maintained the tension subtly.
At the Grammys, the Compton rapper wore a Canadian tuxedo, seemingly nodding to Drake‘s homeland.
He also dedicated one award to Los Angeles, highlighting the city’s recent struggles.
As speculation about their feud continues, both artists proceed with their careers.
Drake is also preparing to release a collaborative project with PartyNextDoor, titled $OME $EXY $ONGS 4 U, which is set to drop on Valentine’s Day.
