Recent reports suggest that Elon Musk may have engaged private investigators to keep tabs on Amber Heard. Heard accuses Musk of employing infrared cameras in an effort to verify her loyalty during their relationship.
When Musk first emerged in the 2010s, he was an intriguing figure aiming to advance human exploration of Mars, but his recent actions and opinions on various issues have made him a polarizing character.
Allegations indicate that Musk monitored Heard, with whom he had a relationship until 2017, while she was in Australia filming for DC’s Aquaman on the Gold Coast. This was reportedly to check if she was unfaithful.
According to Alex Mostrous from The Daily Mail, Musk commissioned a private investigation agency that specializes in infidelity to follow Heard for months, spending around $66,500 in the process.
The investigation allegedly utilized drones and infrared technology to observe the actress, who later had a tumultuous relationship with Johnny Depp. The inquiry allegedly stemmed from claims of an affair with an Australian Rules football player, with the initial tip tracing back to SpaceX, one of Musk’s companies.
Musk’s Controversial Actions
Recently, Musk attended a Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where his boisterous entrance drew considerable criticism.
As the owner of a major social media platform, Musk has faced backlash for engaging with questionable accounts on X.com, associated with neo-Nazi sentiments and anti-Semitic theories, along with anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric.
Moreover, he has previously been in the spotlight for his anti-LGBTQ+ stance, notably disowning his transgender daughter, stating that her transition was a result of the “woke mind virus”. His daughter has publicly responded, describing him as a negligent father.
Beyond his political controversies, Musk’s Tesla vehicles have been criticized as unsafe and impractical, particularly his Cybertruck design.
Additionally, his Neuralink venture has faced scrutiny following a WIRED investigation which revealed that primates in his labs reportedly suffered severe health issues, a claim Musk disputes.
