Saturday was a phenomenal day for the Texas Longhorns. They dominated reigning national champions Michigan at The Big House, asserting themselves as title contenders under coach Steve Sarkisian.
Despite the buzz around talented quarterback Arch Manning, he has had limited playing time due to the remarkable performance of Quinn Ewers.
Special Moment with Matthew McConaughey
Following the game, both Ewers and Manning received acknowledgment from famous movie star and Texas graduate, Matthew McConaughey.
McConaughey initially praised Ewers and engaged with the QB before embracing Manning with a hug and words of support. Despite not playing, Manning remains a prominent figure in the fans’ eyes.
As a graduate of the University of Texas, McConaughey’s presence at the game was anticipated. It was a heartwarming gesture to acknowledge and congratulate some of the players, including those who didn’t actively contribute to the victory.
