The music industry mourns the loss of Tito Jackson, a key figure in the legendary Jackson 5. He passed away on September 15, at the age of 70. Steve Manning, the Jackson family manager, stated to ET that the details surrounding his death are not yet confirmed, but initial reports suggest a heart attack occurred while he was traveling from New Mexico to Oklahoma.
Tito was the elder brother of the late Michael Jackson, who passed away in June 2009. Together with Michael and their siblings Jackie, Jermaine, and Marlon, he formed the iconic music group the Jackson 5.
His sons, who are part of the R’n’B group 3T, shared their grief on Instagram, expressing their devastation over their father’s passing. “We are shocked, saddened, and heartbroken. Our father was an incredible man who cared about everyone and their well-being,” they stated. They also reflected on his legacy, reminding everyone to embody his message of love. “It will forever be ‘Tito Time’ for us. We love you, Pops,” they concluded.
