Hailee Steinfeld has decided to eliminate phones from their Valentine’s Day celebration, aiming for a more personal and affectionate experience with Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills.
This marks the couple’s first Valentine’s Day as a recently engaged pair, and they’re keeping their plans simple and relaxed.
Despite the Bills not making it to the Super Bowl, Allen has secured the MVP title for the 2024 NFL season, allowing him to enjoy a stress-free evening.

On February 7, Steinfeld shared a new edition of her Beau Society newsletter where she detailed her Valentine’s Day plans with Allen.
No Phones Allowed
One of the key aspects she emphasized is that Valentine’s Day should be devoid of phones.
“Comparison steals joy, especially on occasions like Valentine’s Day,” Steinfeld noted. “Switch off your phone and engage in activities that bring you joy. For my Valentine’s Day, we’re likely to have a relaxed evening, trying out a new recipe together and calling it an early night.”
“Although I often want to decorate my home like a Valentine’s Day party (a tradition I pursue yearly), it usually turns out to be more laid-back, like just a red balloon on a barstool next to a plate of pink-frosted cookies.”
In the same newsletter, Allen contributed by sharing details about their engagement.
“The funniest moment? We were about to head out for brunch when you jumped on the bed and said, ‘Can we just get married already?'” Allen recalled. “I told you to wait just a bit more, unaware that you were moments from a life-changing surprise.”
