The allure surrounding the Beckham family remains high, but emerging signs indicate tensions, particularly between Brooklyn Beckham and his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.
In light of ongoing speculation about their relationships, Brooklyn’s ex-girlfriend, Lexi Wood, has shared her insights on the dynamics within the family.
On a recent episode of The Viall Files podcast, Wood openly discussed her experiences with both Brooklyn and Presley Gerber, the son of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber.
Wood characterized both families as supportive and close-knit, noting that they often collaborate and help one another in their careers. “They truly do a lot together,” she shared with host Nick Viall.
Her remarks come during a period when family tensions within the Beckhams are becoming increasingly exposed.
Notably, Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, notably did not attend David Beckham’s 50th birthday party, which was a significant event for the rest of the family.
Growing Divide Between Brooklyn and His Parents
While painting the Beckhams as a “beautiful family,” Wood’s insights add complexity to an already fraught situation. She mentioned that Victoria is a fashion icon and that the family is regarded as cool by many.
However, admiration does not prevent issues from surfacing. Sources indicate that Victoria is becoming increasingly distressed over her rocky relationship with Brooklyn.
Reportedly, the fallout from Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding in 2022 has not been completely resolved, despite attempts to mend the situation. An insider noted, “Things have been tough since Brooklyn met Nicola,” adding that it has been a “real blow” for both parents.
The environment has grown so tense that another source mentioned to Page Six that the family feels they are approaching their breaking point: “They can’t handle this drama anymore.”
When discussing her relationship with the son of a global figure on the podcast, Wood downplayed David’s celebrity status.
Describing him informally, she referred to him simply as Brooklyn’s dad.
Nonetheless, she expressed support for Brooklyn, stating that she feels happy for him in his current relationship. She also noted that she maintains friendly relations with most of her former partners.
Although the Beckham PR efforts continue to project an image of unity, the troubling developments suggest underlying issues persist. As Brooklyn appears to drift further from his family, those familiar with the situation acknowledge the emotional strain involved. It’s evident that no amount of high fashion or curated social media can conceal this family discord.
