Inside the Unseen Rift: The Real Story of Luigi Mangione and Diddy’s Jail Separation

Luigi Mangione and Diddy separated in jail: The truth behind their 'no contact' situation

Both Luigi Mangione and Diddy are currently incarcerated in a notorious jail in the USA, but it seems they are not housed in the same section.

They are both detained at MDC Brooklyn, however, as per TMZ, they are situated in different cell blocks and do not share the same unit.

This information follows previous reports that suggested both were being held in a shared protective unit. However, it is now clarified that they have not interacted since Mangione’s arrival.

Luigi was brought from Pennsylvania to MDC Brooklyn last week, facing murder charges in connection with the death of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

Diddy has been at the facility since his arrest in September on sex trafficking charges.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons commented to TMZ, stating, “For privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not discuss internal security procedures or housing assignments for individuals.”

Mangione’s Plea of Not Guilty

On Monday, Mangione entered a not guilty plea to 11 state charges in a New York court, including first-degree murder, second-degree murder, terrorism-related offenses, and various weapons charges.

Prosecutors indicated their intent to fast-track the evidence discovery process and even agreed to share relevant information with the defense team.

During the hearing, prosecutor Joel Seidemann remarked, “This case has an unprecedented amount of evidence, particularly concerning the quality of the evidence involved.”

He added, “It’s noteworthy due to the thousands of hours of video evidence available.”

In the courtroom, a public audience of two dozen women and six men attended the proceedings. Outside, there were protests supporting Mangione with signs stating “people over profit” and “health care is a human right.”
