Jamal Roberts, a physical education instructor from Meridian, Mississippi, claimed the title in the season 23 finale on May 18. The announcement was made by the longtime host Ryan Seacrest, as Roberts stood alongside fellow contenders John Foster and Breanna Nix, who secured second and third place, respectively.
Jamal’s adventure was not merely about his singing abilities; it was a tale of determination, passion, and resilience.
