Back in 2021, Vance made controversial statements that are now under scrutiny as Trump is back in the political arena as the Republican Party’s presidential nominee.
During an interview on Fox, Vance made degrading comments by referring to women without children as “cat ladies” and questioning their capability to govern a nation.
He went on to label childless women as “miserable in their lives,” claiming that the country is being governed by individuals like them.
Vance targeted specific politicians such as Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, inaccurately asserting that they are childless.
This statement was met with controversy and found to be false, especially in the case of Kamala Harris, who has stepchildren.
Jennifer Aniston Responds to Vance’s Comments
The criticism of Vance’s remarks continues as they resurface. Comedian and actress Whoopi Goldberg was one of the first to speak out against him.
Goldberg addressed Vance, emphasizing that there are various reasons why individuals may choose not to have children and called out his insensitivity.
Jennifer Aniston also joined the voices condemning Vance, taking to Instagram to share a video of his comments.
Aniston expressed her disappointment with Vance’s disrespectful remarks and hoped that his daughter would not face such judgement and criticism in the future.
