Jennifer Aniston Escapes LA to Find Safe Haven from Stalker

Jennifer Aniston flees LA in panic and seeks new home to forget stalker Jimmy Wayne

Jennifer Aniston is reportedly contemplating a move away from Los Angeles after a distressing encounter with a stalker that has left her feeling vulnerable. The cherished star of Friends is eager to retreat from the Hollywood scene following a frightening incident at her Bel-Air residence earlier this month, which prompted her to reassess her safety.

According to RadarOnline.com, the unsettling event took place on May 5, when 48-year-old Jimmy Wayne Carwyle allegedly crashed his vehicle through the secure entrance of Aniston‘s vast estate while she was present.

Sources from RadarOnline.com indicate that Aniston’s security team confronted the intruder at gunpoint until law enforcement arrived. Carwyle was arrested and charged with felony vandalism, remaining in custody without bail.

While the immediate threat has been addressed, friends of Aniston reveal that the psychological impact of the event continues to affect her.

“She has a fondness for her home in Bel-Air, but after being alone for quite some time, this incident made her reconsider,” shared an insider. “She perceives the city as unsafe and disheartening, feeling too isolated and eager to leave.”

Aniston weighs a move as renovations near completion in Montecito

The actress is currently thinking about relocating—at least part-time—to Montecito, California, a charming and celebrity-filled coastal town that hosts her famous pals like Gwyneth Paltrow, Orlando Bloom, Cameron Diaz, and Rob Lowe.

She acquired an estate in Montecito in September 2022 for $14.8 million, and reportedly, renovations are nearly finished.

“Her new home is almost complete, so she can make the move anytime if she decides to—plus she has friends nearby,” the insider noted.

However, Montecito isn’t her sole consideration. Sources also mentioned that Aniston is looking into the possibility of buying a property in upstate New York.

“She’s open to the idea of acquiring a place in upstate New York, where Michelle Williams has a farmhouse,” said the source, reflecting her growing wish for a quieter existence away from Los Angeles’s intense atmosphere.

In addition to the recent stalking incident, emotional factors seem to be contributing to her desire to relocate. July marks the 25th anniversary of her marriage to Brad Pitt, a milestone that still resonates deeply with the Morning Show star.

“Each anniversary hits hard, but this one will be particularly painful as it marks the silver anniversary,” the source disclosed.
